Platform
We use a HIPAA-aware, encrypted telehealth platform (vendor TBD). You join visits through a web browser — no account or app download required in most cases. The link is sent to you before each appointment.
Device requirements
- Computer, tablet, or smartphone with a camera and microphone
- Stable internet connection (wired or strong Wi-Fi preferred)
- Updated browser such as Chrome, Safari, Edge, or Firefox
- A quiet, private, well-lit space where you feel safe to talk
What to expect at your first session
- Arrive a few minutes early to test your camera, audio, and internet
- Verify your identity and review consent for telehealth
- Discuss your history, current concerns, and treatment goals
- Receive an initial plan, which may include medication if appropriate
